Congratulations for taking the next step toward recovery and creating the changes that you seek in your life! I hope that you find that we might be a good fit to begin your new chapter of your life together. I completed a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California, in 2009. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize in Drama Therapy and the Expressive Arts. I am also certified in Gerontology and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist.
My experience includes:
Individual, couple and family therapy, as related to :
-
- Substance use
- Autism Spectrum
- Gender and sexuality identity exploration
- Bereavement counseling for loss and grief
- Existential and spiritual issues
- Trauma-informed therapy for PTSD
- Depression and Anxiety
- Older adults and aging
I apply an eclectic, organic blend of therapeutic techniques, meeting clients in the current moment. I often use person-centered, trauma-informed approaches. I also use narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other therapies that focus on a client’s strengths. These approaches are used to meet your needs and find internal solutions to be integrated into your new way of being, toward sustainable recovery.
