Hi there! I believe that distress comes from disconnection, and healing can be found in connection with others–including in the therapy room. In my therapeutic work, I aim to make space for connection where clients can feel heard and gain insight into their unique lived experiences.

I recently completed my Master’s degree in mental health counseling at Lewis & Clark College here in Portland. I’m a Registered Counselor Associate, which means that even though I’m not yet fully licensed, I’m authorized by the state of Oregon to work with clients and I receive regular supervision from a licensed therapist.

My experience includes:

  • Individually counseling adults with issues such as depression, anxiety, relational concerns, complicated family systems, and systemic trauma.

  • Facilitating workshops for learning coping skills and developing awareness of mental health.

  • Working with LGBTQ+ individuals and providing a space for them to both explore their identities and process their experience in a heteronormative world.

  • Providing short-term crisis intervention to adults and teenagers.

I work from a trauma-informed, multiculturally humble approach rooted in relational cultural theory and narrative therapy, using evidence-based best practices. In the therapy room my clients can expect to experience validation and gentle challenging, direct conversations about the connection between us, exploration of relational patterns and narratives in their lives, and psychoeducation to help contextualize their experiences and the therapeutic work we do.
