Psychotherapy Access Grant Funds

This is a scholarship-like program that provides low-barrier funds to individuals in Oregon to access counseling and psychotherapy.

While we provide low-income and free counseling services here at Spectrum Counseling and Mental Wellness, we recognize that our services may not be the best fit for everyone. We also have an extensive waiting list. With this in mind, we seek to provide funds to individuals who seek counseling outside of our organization, but are struggling financially to afford these services.

Requirements:

  • Be an Oregon resident.

  • Identify as LGBT+. (We will also consider applications from straight Allys who have multiple marginalized identities.)

  • Have a financial need that prevents you from affording psychotherapy.

  • Have already established contact with an outside therapist or organization who is working with you, or has agreed to work with you.

  • Plan to start psychotherapy services within 1 month (or have started already).

  • Have not received a grant from us in the past.

One recipient will be selected every month for a grant of up to $1000.

Applications for this program are open.
