OHP members

In 2026, OHP made some changes that affect Spectrum’s ability, as well as the ability of many other mental health agencies, to serve its members.

OHP began requiring all agencies to go through an extensive approval process, called a Certificate of Authorization (COA), in order to stay in-network. As a result of these changes and ongoing approval delays related to the required Certificate of Authorization (COA) process, Spectrum is currently unable to accept new OHP clients for services with associate therapists.

Because of this, our availability for new OHP clients is extremely limited. We understand this may be frustrating and disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our team is actively working through the COA process so that we may resume OHP services for members in the future.

If you are seeking care through OHP, you have a few different options:

  • You may add yourself to our waitlist, with the understanding that your wait for services could be a year or more while we complete the Authorization process with OHP.

  • You can access care through another LGBT-specific agency in town who already has a COA and is in-network with OHP.

  • You can contact your coordinated care organization (CCO) or visit the Oregon Health Authority provider directory for additional referrals and resources.
